Southam Workhouse

Roland Raffell is one of the volunteers at the Southam Heritage Collection and he has written this book following a review of material held in the Collection and also at Warwick County Record Office. It covers the Workhouse together with some of the people associated with it and also puts the Workhouse into its historical context. Whilst not intended to be a full academic study of the Workhouse it does provide an interesting glimpse into how the Workhouse fitted into the history of Southam and its impact on some of its residents. 75 pages.
